Run the Rocks

Nearly 2,500 participants will take on the challenging 5k run/walk course at Red Rocks Park to benefit the American Lung Association in Colorado. It wouldn’t be Red Rocks without live music, six local bands will line the course to keep you energized. Please join the fun! Let the view take your breath away so the disease won’t.

By joining the Run the Rocks, you are helping to make a positive impact in the lives of those affected by lung disease. Participants raise funds to support the mission of the American Lung Association while training to run the trails and stairs at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO.

Make the most of your experience and climb as a part of a team. Teams consist of friends, family and co-workers who want to help raise awareness and funds to support research, patient programs and advocacy efforts. You can climb as an individual, but climbing as a part of a team increases the impact you can make!

Once you register, you’ll have access to your Run the Rocks Participant Center. You’ll have the ability to customize your personal web page and share your reason for running and send emails to ask others to join you or donate. We are here to help you, from the first step in your run all the way to the top of Red Rocks!

Event Day Schedule
8 a.m. – Late registration and packet pick up begin
9:30 a.m. – Run/Walk Begins (Starting Line: Upper North Parking Lot)
10 a.m. (approx.) – Exhibitors, Food & Fun on the Plaza

It is suggested that climbers arrive by 8 a.m. to check-in, retrieve your bib and timing chip, and stretch. PLEASE NOTE: The roads within Red Rocks will begin closing at 9 a.m. to ensure a safe race route. Please plan accordingly and arrive early.
