Join us on Saturday, October 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre (Lower South Lot 2) for a free, family-friendly celebration of archaeology, history, and culture. Hosted by Community Connections LLC in partnership with Colorado Preservation, Inc., the event brings together more than 30 exhibitors, hands-on activities, cultural demonstrations, and interactive learning opportunities for all ages.
Visitors can try atlatl throwing, watch a tipi demonstration, enjoy performances by Indigenous 5280, explore educational displays and artifact exhibits, and attend engaging presentations on historical and archaeological topics. Additional activities include free offsite cultural tours, flintknapping, atlatl throwing, food trucks, a beer garden and root beer!
New this year, attendees can also register for one of 50 free admission tickets to the Buffalo Bill Museum, available in celebration of International Archaeology Day. Discover the stories of the past while enjoying one of Colorado’s most iconic settings. Learn more at www.communityconnections.biz.
