Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I park and is it free?

  • All five (5) Red Rocks Parking lots are open for SnowShape
  • Parking is free for all guests

What time and where should I arrive?

  • Doors open at 7am and we recommend guests arrive in between 7:00am-7:30am to ensure smooth parking and entry.

Are all Entrances to the Park and Amphitheatre open for SnowShape?

  • All entrances to the park (Entrance 1, 2 and 3) and entrances to the Amphitheatre (Upper Circle, North/East Trail and South Ramp) are open for SnowShape.

What should I bring?

  • All you need is a filled water bottle and yoga/workout mat.

What are the permitted and prohibited items?

  • Bag Policies are the same as Red Rocks Bag Policy with the exception of a filled-water bottle and yoga/workout mats are ok (and needed!).

What should I wear?

  • Dress for a fitness class and appropriately for the weather. Layers are recommended.

Where can I set up my mat when I arrive?

  • The event is general admission so set up wherever you find space. However, please try to move to the center of the row to make room for those arriving after you.

I can’t make it. Are my tickets transferable or refundable?

  • Tickets may be transferred but are not refundable.

Who is teaching each class?

  • Our SnowShape fitness series will be taught by fitness instructors from Denver Parks and Recreation. Each session in the SnowShape series offers a full-body workout, suitable for all fitness levels, with emphasis on mobility, endurance, strength and power.

I have never done a fitness class at Red Rocks before. Can I still participate?

  • Absolutely! Our classes are suitable for all fitness levels.

Will there be modifications available if I’m injured?

  • While each individual assumes their own liability and may not be able to be personally addressed, there are modifications available throughout the classes for common injuries and ailments.

Can I stay at Red Rocks after class ends?

  • Class starts promptly at 8am and ends promptly at 9am. Guests are welcome to stay on-premise and enjoy the beautiful park until early afternoon when the amphitheatre will close to the public for concert preparation.

What is Vendor Village?

  • Vendor Village, presented by HCA HealthONE, is located on the Top Plaza of the amphitheatre. Sponsors of Yoga on the Rocks will set up their tents with fun activations, giveaways and goods/merchandise sales. Partners and activations are subject to change throughout the season.

Can my kids take class if they are under 18?

  • Anyone under 18 can attend, but a parent/guardian must assume all liability for minors. Please make sure to read the fine print on your ticket purchase and signage at the entrances.
