Concert Tip #1: Alternate Route to Red Rocks from the South
If you are coming to Red Rocks from the South Metro area, you usually take the Morrison Exit. Sometimes the traffic on C-470 can get very backed up – especially if there is an event at Bandimere Speedway the same night. Here’s an alternate route to get you to the amphitheatre: From C-470 exit to Highway 285 South, the Fairplay exit. Travel 1 1/2 miles up Highway 285 to your first exit which reads Highway 8 – Morrison, Evergreen. Follow Highway 8 to Morrison and make a left to Red Rocks Entrance 3.

Handicap Parking at Red Rocks
Red Rocks Amphitheatre provides handicap parking for concert goers at both the Top Circle and Upper South Lots. We want to be sure that these spaces are kept available to those who need them and not used by those who have simply “borrowed” the vehicle or hangtag. Concert Tip #8: Arrive early for the most fun!
Did you know that admission to the Amphitheatre begins an hour and a half before the concert? Come early to avoid traffic hassles and enjoy the views, the sunshine, and the legendary ambience. Or, tour the Visitor Center and explore the history of Red Rocks. For the ultimate evening, make dinner reservations at the Ship Rock Grille (303-697-4939) and then stroll casually to your seats for the concert. The Grille is only open on concert nights to ticket holders.
