Event Information

RED ROCKS 8 O'CLOCK HOWL at Red Rocks Amphitheatre has been rescheduled to Wednesday April 28, 2021! There is nothing you need to do as your tickets will be valid for the new date.

The Red Rocks 8 o’clock Howl opens the iconic venues’ 80th anniversary, not with platinum-selling acts, but those who have kept the music playing during the Covid-19 pandemic from their front porches, churches, yards and hospitals.

Among the performers:

· The firefighters and first responders of the Emerald Society Bagpipers who played nightly in communities across Colorado

· Intensive Care Unit nurse Emily Worthem who sang for her patients at UC Health

· Dove Award-winning vocalist JoFoKe, trumpeter Shane Endsley and pianist Adam Waite performed gospel and jazz online

· 5th-grader Raditya Muljadi who played piano concerts for charity

· Special remarks from Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock

Emceed by KBCO’s Bret Saunders, the event also includes a special 8 O’clock Howl for front line workers.

It’s an emotional first night back from a pandemic that has touched audiences and those associated with the concert industry, and a fitting way for Red Rocks to celebrate those who have lifted spirits through their personal passions for music.

FREE LIVE STREAM: This event will also be livestreamed for FREE on the Red Rocks Facebook page tonight. Tune in to help us officially kick off the 80th anniversary season, starting at 6:30pm MST!

Your Red Rocks experience has been modified to support social distancing guidelines during events, including the creation of four sections within the seating bowl – each with dedicated parking lots and amphitheatre entrances. Due to the ongoing risk of Covid-19 in our state, the continued use of masks in crowded settings is recommended. Masks are required inside restrooms, the Trading Post, Visitor Center and any indoor area. For more information, please click here. Download the official Red Rocks app before your visit for touchless entry with AXS Mobile ID, weather alerts, park and venue maps, visitor tips and special offers.

Conditions and capacities may change throughout the season based on guidance from City authorities and fans should be aware of changes that may affect this experience.
