Event Information

Halsey’s Madison Square Garden show on August 13 sold out within a matter of days, but the world’s favorite post-apocalyptic pop disruptor didn’t want to leave anybody out. Today, she announces a full-scale North American headline tour this summer, concluding at the MSG gig. On this run, beginning July 6 at UCF Arena in Orlando, FL, her show will transform arenas and amphitheaters into the delightful dystopia depicted within her full-length debut album, BADLANDS (Astralwerks).

Halsey kicked off the new year with the announcement that she would be the recipient of the “Breakthrough Artist Award” at Music Biz 2016 in Nashville May 18.

Critics continue to praise her live shows. Consequence of Sound wrote, “The lasting impression of the performance left her largely female audience lingering after the show, beaming in the newfound success of their hero, sure they had witnessed one of music’s biggest rising stars.” Rookie says “Halsey has a knack for bringing people together with her brutally honest and heartfelt music. In return, her fans make her live shows extra spectacular–screaming the lyrics to empowering songs. The majority of fans said that listening to her music had strengthened their friendships and inspired them to be themselves, without apologies.”   Houston Press claimed, “Her lyrics are so confessional, and yet she has this cool about her, as if she’s already a superstar and she’s waiting for the rest of the world to catch up to her. It feels like it’s only a matter of time before that happens.” Redeye said, “Halsey didn’t so much perform for the rabid crowd of oft-shrieking fans as with them, confidently leading a communal experience with lyrics that listeners clearly have made their own as they sing (shout) along with most of them.”

Halsey’s full-length debut, Badlands, bowed at #2 on the Billboard Top 200, and she joined The Weeknd for his The Madness fall tour, appeared on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and Last Call with Carson Daly, hopped on Justin Bieber’s #1 comeback album Purpose, garnered a People’s Choice Award nomination, and performed at the 2015 Museum of Modern Art’s Film Benefit honoring Cate Blanchett. The age of Badlands is underway.
