On Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at noon, the Jefferson County Sheriff issued temporary fire restrictions for all areas of unincorporated Jefferson County including Red Rocks. These restrictions are intended to reduce the likelihood of human caused wildfires.
Charcoal grills are always banned at Red Rocks, but small gas-controlled grills are permitted. Under the sheriff’s current restrictions, gas grills are still allowed in the parking lots.
Please remember that all tailgaiting must be confined to the rear of your vehicle and not interfere with the parking of other vehicles. Tents and canopies are not permitted, and no alcohol may be consumed in the lots or on the stairs or ramps. We appreciate your cooperation.
