Yoga on the Rocks Overview
Red Rocks Amphitheatre is not just a concert destination, but offers an array of recreation options for everyone, all set amongst the marvelous rock formations and dramatic natural beauty Colorado is famous for.
For decades, the amphitheatre and surrounding park has been a hot spot for outdoor exercise enthusiasts. Hundreds of individuals, and several workout groups, meet regularly at Red Rocks to brave the 393 stairs, higher altitude and steep terrain.
Denver Arts & Venues, the City agency that owns and operates Red Rocks Amphitheatre, welcomes this activity and in 2010 created the HealthONE Red Rocks Fitness Challenge. Each year, the Red Rocks Fitness Challenge provides more than 300 participants and 14 personal trainers exclusive access to the amphitheatre for one hour each weekend for three months. The Challenge has been so successful that in 2013 we created Yoga on the Rocks.
For $10, up to 2,500 yogis can find their Zen at one of the most awe-inspiring venues in the world - Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
