Where is the Challenge kick-off event? Do I need to attend?
A. The challenge kick-off event will occur on Sunday, April 21 from 11am-Noon at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. You will be giving your registration packet (t-shirt, challenge instructions, etc.) and meet the challenge staff. If you’re unable to attend, please contact Amy Lindsey at amy.lindsey@denvergov.org or 720-373-5419 to pick up of your registration materials.
Where is Red Rocks Amphitheatre located?

When and where are the group workouts and how long do they last?
A. See challenge homepage for dates and times of weekly workout options.
Do I need to sign up for the group workouts?
A. Yes, but only the weekday (M-F) workouts. Sign up for weekly workouts from the fitness challenge homepage.
How do I register and pay for the challenge?
A. Registraion and payment (via PayPal) will be accepted on the Red Rocks Fitness Challenge Facebook page.
Do you take personal checks or other methods of payment?
A. No. Sorry!
Do I have to submit a signed physicians release to participate?
A. No; however we do highly recommend you seek your physician’s approval before starting this or any exercise program.
Do I have to have Facebook to participate?
A. Yes. You will need a Facebook account to register. You have to "Like" the Red Rocks Fitness Challenge page to access the registration/payment form.
Is the HealthONE Red Rocks Fitness Challenge an annual event?
A. Yes. 2013 will be the third year.
Does my fitness level matter to participate?
A. No. We invite all people with various fitness levels to participate. At this time, we are asking all participants to classify their fitness level as either beginner, intermediate, or advanced. Personal trainers will be advised of their group makeup and will create workout routines accordingly. Modifications will be offered to match each participant’s fitness level and ability to maximize his/her results. We think it can be very encouraging and inspiring for participants to have different fitness levels in their group as each person continues through the 90 day challenge.
If I’m injured prior to or during the course of the fitness challenge, can I get a refund?
A. No. By signing up and agreeing to our terms and conditions you forfeit your registration fee even if you cannot complete the challenge.
What kinds of prizes are given away during the challenge?
A. There will be prizes awarded to the top finisher in each group, top trainer, and a prize available to all participants who finish the fitness challenge. See Prizes page for details.
Do I need to do the pre and post fitness assessments?
A. No, only if you want to be eligible for prizes.
Where and when are the fitness assessments?
A. Fitness assessments will take place at Washington Park Recreation Center. YOU MUST SIGN UP ONLINE to attend the pre and post fitness assessment. See Fitness Test page for dates/times and to sign up for the pre fitness test now.
