Get A Piece of the Rock!
Get your very own piece of Red Rocks history with a limited edition, personal-sized bench made from the amphitheatre's original, old-growth Redwood seating installed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1941. The legendary concert venue's worn and deteriorating benches were recently replaced with ecologically-friendly lumber and, in exploring ways to reuse, recycle or repurpose the old lumber, Red Rocks has created custom-made benches that are now available to the public.
In crafting the handmade benches, every effort to preserve the unique look-and-feel of the original venue seating has been made. Each bench is a one-of-a-kind keepsake and may contain worn spots, markings from old bolts, stains, scars and other distinctive characteristics that set each piece apart. Every bench has soaked up more than 60 years of musical history and fan experiences.
Benches retail for $195 and can be purchased in person, over the phone, or by email from the Red Rocks Trading Post, open daily from 9 AM - 6 PM. For information or directions, call (303) 697-6910 or email redrocksretail@aramark.com. Red Rocks will ship benches out of state for a flat rate of $85, but please note that customers who wish to return a bench may be responsible for return shipping costs. Quantities are limited and benches are going fast - order yours today!
Proceeds from the benches will go to the Preserve the Rocks Fund - a donation-driven reserve dedicated to the maintenance and preservation of Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
